Dr. Roger Brown’s Profile

Dr. Brown was a GP for 22 years in in a large town GP practice in the West of Scotland He returned to NI in 2013, working for Kingsbridge Belfast for 3 years full-time and 1 year part -time as well as having both part- time and full-time roles in the NHS until February 2022  when he began working in full-time private practice in Kingsbridge North West Hospital.

As a lead GP he now offers some patient clinics and colleague support / mentoring at the Belfast site. He is currently to sole provider in Northern Ireland of a new Hydrogel implant used to treat Osteoarthritis – Arthrosamid.

He has been a GP trainer (since 2013) with Kingsbridge training academy, running courses for GP in minor surgery and joint injections in Belfast, Dublin and Sligo.

Dr. Brown was associated with Coleraine FC as a Medic for 5 years, and finished up in Jan 2023.

He has a special interest in men’s health, joint and trigger point injections and minor surgery.

Current NHS Post

Dr Brown retired from NHS GP practice, minor surgery GP federation sessions and out of hours sessions in December 2022
