Kingsbridge Healthcare Group are currently seeking to fill the role of Stores Person within the Facilities Department. The successful candidate will be based at Kingsbridge Private Hospital but may be required to travel to other Company locations as and when required.

Salary £19,000 - £22,060 per annum
Department Hospital Services (Facilities)
Contract Full-time, Permanent
Hours 37.5 per week, Monday-Sunday. Shifts can range from 7am-6pm

Job Summary

This role is based in Kingsbridge Private Hospital, however due to the multi-site locations within the Group, you may have to transfer or deliver stock and/or equipment between sites. The Stores Person will be the key point of contact for Goods receipt & dispatch, stock, and replenishment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the daily running of Kingsbridge stores. You will help create and adhere to efficient processes to manage the receipt, location, and distribution of all goods delivered to Kingsbridge. Reporting of any shortages or damages in a timely manner to the Procurement team to be dealt with. Stores to be kept tidy.
  • Undertake replenishment and/or re-ordering of stores items as agreed by the Procurement team. The Stores Person will be responsible for the replenishment of stock at store level.  The Stores Person should liaise constantly with the Procurement team about stock levels, re-orders and any delivery discrepancies.
  • Arrange Uplift of Equipment or Stock being returned.
  • Remove clinical waste and any other rubbish from the dirty utility rooms at Theatre 1 & 2 throughout the day. Clear theatre corridor.
  • Responsible along with rest of stores team for putting away theatre CSSD trays, recording any errors and reporting.
  • Participate in the Group stocktakes. 
  • Porter duties to include moving furniture and medical equipment safely.

Communication & Relationships Skills:

  • Communicate effectively with procurement, clinical & admin staff. Be accessible and open to requests by clinical staff for support.

  • Identify areas for improvement and liaise with line manager regarding how things could be managed differently/better.

Essential

Experience:

  • MS Office Experience in particular MS Excel & Outlook.

Desirable

Qualifications

  • 5 GCSE Grades A_C including Full clean driver’s License
  • Full clean drivers licence

Experience

  • Previous experience in private healthcare
  • A minimum of 1 years’ experience in a similar role
