Facilities Support Officer

Kingsbridge Healthcare Group are currently seeking to fill the role of Facilities Support Officer within the Facilities Department. The successful candidate will be based at Kingsbridge Private Hospital but may be required to travel to other Company locations as and when required.

Job Summary

The Facilities Support Officer (FSO) will support the Estates and Facilities team to ensure that the buildings and assets in the Belfast locations are maintained to the highest possible standards in line with all legal and regulatory requirements. The FSO will provide support to both the Estates and Facilities Officers and all Estates and Facilities functions. The person will need to be flexible in their approach and able to adapt and allocate resources in an effective manner to meet the business needs.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  1. Responsible for the preventative and reactive maintenance of medical and plant equipment
  2. Upload and file equipment & plant service records, highlighting remedial action
  3. Update the Estates software platform accurately, reporting and escalating compliance issues to Estates Officer
  4. Monitor and update Happy Fox facilities work tickets
  5. Review contracts database and request PM contract renewals when required
  6. Assisting with the collation of department KPI’s
  7. Undertake Maintenance tasks when required.

The above list is not exhaustive and additional / alternative tasks may be required from time to time as directed.

Person Specification:

Qualifications

Essential

  • Mathematics and English GCSE’s – A*- C

Desirable

  • CSR card

Experience

  • Estates and Facilities Compliance platform experience
  • Good understanding of Health and Safety
  • Maintenance experience

Desirable

  • Experience in Healthcare environment

Special Knowledge and Skills

Essential

  • Proficient in Excel

  • Hold a current full driving licence which is valid for use in the UK and have access to a car on appointment. This criterion will be waived in the case of applicants whose disability prohibits driving but who have access to a form of transport approved by Kingsbridge Healthcare Group.
