Kingsbridge Healthcare Group are currently seeking to fill the role of a Receptionist to provide excellent front line service to all our patients and customers. Our receptionists provide the friendly and customer focused service that our patients have grown to expect. We would welcome applications who enjoy working with members of the public and strong communicators. The successful candidate will be based at Kingsbridge Private Hospital North West (Ballykelly).

Job Summary

The Role

As a receptionist you will be one of the initial contact points for patients, clients and visitors . Our team as receptionists act as the face of the organization and are responsible for the efficient management of all front of house services for the Hospital and outpatient clinics. Telephone queries, patient invoicing and overall management of the patient flow of the building will be core to the role.

Main Responsibilities

  • As a receptionist you will be required to meet and greet patients, members of the public and visitors to the Hospital and maintain a high professional profile and a friendly, welcoming and courteous attitude.
  • Dealing with relevant queries from patients and relatives, both by telephone and in person.
  • To receive and initiate switchboard calls promptly and efficiently, identifying the caller’s requirements.
  • To transfer calls as appropriate, while at all times projecting the Hospital’s image in a courteous, efficient and helpful manner.
  • Greeting the patients for their appointments, registering them and showing them the directions for the waiting area.
  • Keeping an account of the Consultant’s room hire and forwarding it to Accounts personnel.
  • Financial Responsibilities – Patient invoicing

Essential Criteria

  • 2 years' previous administration experience, previous experience working in a Receptionist role preferred,
  • Educated to GCSE standard grades A*-C including English and Maths
  • Strong working knowledge of all Microsoft office programmes especially word and excel
  • Pleasant personality and professional manner to create a positive corporate image and you must be fully flexible to cover periods of absence including holidays and sickness.
  • High attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks
  • Ability to remain confidential essential
  • Candidates must be Flexible regarding hours of work etc.
  • Must also be willing to undergo an Access NI (Police Check)
