Dr Paul Coulter

Dr. Paul Coulter is a highly experienced and compassionate consultant psychiatrist, dedicated to helping individuals overcome mental health challenges and lead fulfilling lives. With 9 years of experience in the field of psychiatry, Dr. Coulter is a recognised expert in the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of a wide range of mental health conditions.

Dr. Coulter obtained his medical degree from Queens University, Belfast and completed his residency in psychiatry in Northern Ireland where he has worked as a Consultant Psychiatrist in a range of psychiatric services including Primary Mental Health Team, Support & Recovery Community Mental Health Team, Bluestone Inpatient Psychiatric Unit and a Home Treatment Crisis Response Team.

Today, he works as a consultant psychiatrist in the Southern Health & Social Care Trust. He is the Clinical Lead for the Home Treatment Crisis Response Team and was recently appointed as Clinical Director for Acute and Unscheduled Mental Health Services in the Trust.

Dr Coulter has experience in working with a wide range of mental health problems including depression, anxiety, OCD, bipolar affective disorder, schizophrenia and other mental health conditions.

Dr. Coulter is highly respected within the medical community and is now offering his services in the medicolegal fields to be called upon to provide expert opinion and testimony in legal proceedings.
