Hypnosis & Hypnotherapy

Hypnosis has been in use since 3000 BC and has been shown in ancient hieroglyphics by the Egyptians. It simply is a state of relaxed deep focus.

It is not about being asleep but is a sleep of the nervous system. Hypnosis is simply about being in a state of relaxed, deep focus. It has been studied since 1892 and in the 1950s the American Medical Association took notice of hypnosis after a patient underwent a thyroidectomy while in a hypnotic trance induced by a therapist. No other painkiller or anaesthetic was used.

Since then hypnotherapy has been used by Doctors and Dentists in overcoming fears about surgical and dental procedures as well as in childbirth. It is also very successful when used for weight loss, smoking cessation and phobias. Research has continually proved its effectiveness.

No one can be hypnotised against their will and even in trance you can reject any suggestions that do not serve you.

So What Is Hypnotherapy?

  • It is simply a deeply relaxed state of heightened awareness in which an individual is more receptive to suggestion.
  • It is an incredibly painless and fast way to change behaviour, proven repeatedly by research.
  • You remain conscious, alert and fully in control while being deeply relaxed.
  • It is a very natural, safe, drug-free state which you can exit at any time.

Does hypnotherapy work?

Yes, it has been studied since 1892 and studies in the mid1950s and again in 2001 show that ‘the inclusion of hypnotic procedures may be of benefit in the management and treatment of a wide range of conditions’

How Safe Is Hypnotherapy?

  • You are in a totally natural and drug free state and you can exit anytime you want.
  • Children, young people as well as adults can all use it.
  • Clients suffering from Epilepsy or anyone diagnosed as having a psychotic illness SHOULD NOT enter hypnosis. Clients suffering from Schizophrenia, Borderline Personality Disorder or Narcissistic Personality Disorder are advised NOT to enter into hypnosis.

How Soon Can You Expect To See Results?

  • For many results are immediate while for others they will be accumulative or retro-active (i.e. only when looking back will the improvement be seen).

What Is The Difference Between Hypnosis And Rapid Transformational Therapy (RTT)?

  • Rapid Transformational Therapy (RTT) goes way beyond conventional methods of hypnotherapy. It is like ‘hypnosis on steroids’.Not only are you getting positive suggestions, but RTT involves you talking under hypnosis, exploring your issues and viewing them from a different perspective. You uncover the root cause of your problem and clear any blocks that are holding you back.
  • Usually just one session per issue is required.

Is Hypnosis Suitable For Any Ages?

Yes, children and young people as well as adults can use it.

How Come I Have Never Heard Of Rapid Transformational Therapy (RTT)?

  • Marisa Peer, who devised Rapid Transformational Therapy (RTT) and has been practising it for over three decades, only started teaching her method in 2016. She is a world-renowned speaker, therapist and best-selling author and has worked with rock stars, CEOs, elite Olympic athletes, royalty and Oscar winning actors with amazing results.
  • Clinical trials are being carried out to prove how phenomenally effective RTT actually is.

How Does RTT Work?

RTT works by accessing the subconscious mind where we store past memories, unlike regular ‘talking therapies’ which use only the conscious mind.  RTT has much more rapid transformational results as the ‘subconscious mind is 30,000 times more powerful than the conscious mind’.

Do I Need To Do Anything?

Yes, while the session changes behaviours, in order for them to be lasting, you need to be committed to listening to the bespoke 15-20 minute recording each day for at least 21 days as it takes this amount of time to permanently change behaviours.

Patient Testimonials

"I was in your facility yesterday for a day procedure (operation on my left arm). I wanted to write and express how impressed I was with the facilities and more importantly the staff on the Ward.

Everyone was excellent, and I mean excellent, i don't normally write congratulatory e-mails so this is high praise in my view. The Senior nurse was excellent, as was the Theatre nurse and the anaesthetist. Even the assistants that helped with catering and other duties. All came together to form a great impression of the establishment." Jason Carpal Tunnel Surgery, Kingsbridge Patient
"Amazing 5-star hospital.  Have had other surgery here before on my back.
Yesterday's was a neck disc replacement operation.  I would highly recommend this hospital like a hotel manner. Thanks again guys." Mr Phillips, Kingsbridge Patient
"As hospitals go this one is pretty amazing! Had surgery with Mr Molloy at the end of October and have another one the end of this month. Mr Molloy is a gentleman who puts you at ease right away and ensured my last procedure went smoothly! From start to finish all the hospital staff go above and beyond to make your stay as comfortable and stress free as possible. The facilities are brilliant with the rooms spacious and modern to recover in. Keep up the good work!" Ms Roulston, Kingsbridge Patient
"Can’t praise Kingsbridge Private Hospital enough!! I had an operation a couple of weeks ago and I was so well looked after. My surgeon Mr Rashid was fantastic, and the nursing staff was also fabulous. I found they communicated very well to each other, so everyone knew when my meds were due, my allergies etc. They were so kind, so lovely, constantly checked to see how I was i.e. my temperature etc. The food was fabulous and the catering staff very helpful having had an operation were very happy to accommodate ... Thank you to all!" Ms Cheong, Kingsbridge Patient
"Currently just back from recovery on the ward. I have just had ACL reconstructive surgery on my left knee. What can I say? This place is brilliant. I arrived at 8.35am, taken to the ward at 8.45am (my admission time was 9am). Tended to by a lovely Nurse. Dr Roger Wilson spoke to me around 9.45am, in Theatre for 10am, recovery for 11.10am and now currently back on ward. These guys are awesome. From the consultant to anaesthetist to nurses to cater assistants. Absolutely brilliant. Thank you so much. I am so grateful to everyone at Kingsbridge for the service." Mr McNicholl, Kingsbridge Patient
