Getting a Prescription

Kingsbridge consultants and private GPs can prescribe medication related to your treatment.

Many medications are available from our on-site pharmacies at Kingsbridge Private Hospital Belfast and Kingsbridge Private Hospital North West, and our friendly pharmacy teams are always happy to help and answer any questions.

Paying For Your Medication

Private prescriptions are paid for directly at the pharmacy. If you’d like to know the cost of your medication, our pharmacy team will be happy to advise.

Prescriptions We Can Provide

We can prescribe and dispense medications that are directly related to your treatment at Kingsbridge.

Unfortunately, we’re unable to process prescriptions issued by other healthcare providers.

Medication Recommendations From Your Consultant

Your consultant may sometimes recommend a medication within your clinic letter. As this is a recommendation rather than a prescription, your GP will need to issue the prescription if they feel it’s appropriate for your care.
