Kingsbridge Healthcare Group are looking to recruit two additional Administrator for the Medical Records department.

Location Kingsbridge Private Hospital Sligo
Salary €11.50 per hour
Department Administration Medical Records
Contract Full time, Permanent
Hours Flexible hours, evening and weekend work required
Responsible to Patient Pathway Manager
Accountable to General Manager

Job Summary

As an Administrator within the Medical Records department, the successful candidate will help to prepare notes for clinics and update online records accordingly. You will also be responsible for sending confidential post to the Trusts and GP services.

We are looking for an administrator who is highly motivated and committed to producing quality results, with an eye for detail and who enjoys working in a fast paced and busy office environment.

 Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintenance of patient notes through the filing of all investigation results and reports in a precise manner.
  • Helping to prepare notes for clinics.
  • Retrieve lab results.
  • Sending confidential post to relevant Trusts and GP services.
  • Any other general duties which may be required.

 The above list is not exhaustive and additional / alternative tasks may be required from time to time as directed.

Person Specification:

Essential

Qualifications

  • Leaving Certificate - 5 grades A-C including Maths and English or equivalent

Experience

  • Evidence of experience in the full MS Suite including Word, Excel and Outlook

Special Knowledge and Skills

  • Understanding of the Data protection Act and importance of confidentiality
  • Ability to work in a fast paced and busy office environment
  • Accuracy and detail when dealing with patient records
