Your Travel Consultation

Your journey begins with a telephone travel triage appointment conducted by one of our GP Nurses with specialist expertise in travel medicine. During this call, we will gather essential information about your destination, length of stay, planned activities and medical history.

Please have your vaccination history available for review, you can obtain this from your GP.

Based on your individual risk assessment, we will:

Advise on required and recommended vaccinations for your destination
Determine whether any booster doses are necessary
Assess the need for anti-malarial medication
Provide tailored travel health advice specific to your itinerary and activities

If vaccinations are required, a face-to-face appointment will be arranged for administration by our experienced nursing team.

We recommend booking your travel consultation at least six weeks prior to departure. This ensures sufficient time for vaccines to become fully effective, particularly where multi-dose schedules are required.
