What happens during the treatment?

The treatment is injected into the skin to stimulate collagen production, improve the blood flow to the area and to neutralize free radicals.

For the face, polynucleotides improve the quality of the skin.  The benefits include tightening, contouring, hydration and glowing skin.

For the eye area, it works by targeting the skin around the eyes.  This can help reduce the appearance of dark circles, puffiness and fine lines.

How long does it take to see results?

The treatment gives an instant skin tightening effect; the best results are seen 12 weeks after the treatment.

How many treatments are required?

2-3 treatments are required around 4-6 weeks apart. Allow 30 minutes for each appointment.

Are polynucleotides a filler?

Polynucleotides are the next generation of injectables, made from DNA fragments that stimulate your skin’s natural repair process. Its formulation is different from filler- based injections and doesn’t change the shape of your face.  It is compatible with fillers and anti-wrinkle injections to enhance and improve the longevity of results.

What are the side effects of polynucleotides?

As with any injectable treatment there may be redness, swelling or bruising post treatment.  This treatment is not suitable for those with a fish allergy and is not recommended for those with autoimmune conditions.
