NEWS: Kingsbridge Private Hospital Sligo Announces Sponsorship of Strandhill GAA Nursery Programme
03rd, Oct 2025

Kingsbridge Private Hospital Sligo is delighted to announce a new sponsorship with Coolera Strandhill GAA, supporting the club’s nursery programme and coaches for 2025.
As part of the sponsorship, the Kingsbridge logo will feature proudly on the nursery team kits and, on the jumpers, worn by coaches. To mark the launch, the club hosted a fun family day where young players wore their new kits for the first time. Kingsbridge mascot Roary was also in attendance to add to the festivities.
Speaking about the partnership, John McPartland, Estates & Facilities Manager at Kingsbridge Private Hospital Sligo, said:
“We’re very proud to support Coolera Strandhill GAA at grassroots level. Sport and community go hand in hand, and the nursery programme in particular plays a vital role in helping children to build friendships, stay active and develop their skills in a fun environment. I’m thrilled to see our hospital involved in supporting this, and I’m looking forward to seeing the young players run out in their new kits.”
John is also deeply involved with Coolera Strandhill GAA. As manager of the Senior Men’s team, he guided them to their first ever Connacht Club SFC title last year. He also contributes to coaching at underage level and is a well-known, friendly presence to many families in the club.
The partnership will run for the 2025 season, with the potential to develop into an ongoing relationship with the club.
