Eve & Maddie Charity Football Cup Raises £1500 For Local Baby Bank Through The Kingsbridge Foundation

On Sunday 25th September, the Kingsbridge Foundation were delighted to be part of the Eve and Maddie Cup; a charity football match organised by Jemma & Andrew Watson, in memory of their girls and Ozzie’s litter sisters, Eve and Maddie Watson. 

On Sunday 25th September, the Kingsbridge Foundation were delighted to be part of the Eve and Maddie Cup; a charity football match organised by Jemma & Andrew Watson, in memory of their girls and Ozzie’s litte sisters, Eve and Maddie Watson. Jemma works as a recovery nurse in Kingsbridge Private Hospital Belfast and wanted to donate the money through Kingsbridge Foundation to a cross community charity Living Hope Baby Bank in Belfast. A massive £1061.66 was raised at the Family Fun Day alongside the match at Lower Maze FC and this has been topped up to £1500 by the Kingsbridge Foundation. The money will go towards helping new mums and children under two years old. A big thank you to Joe McCabe and John Bell from Distillery FC Over 35’s who helped organise the charity soccer match against Hillsborough Knights who lifted this year’s Eve and Maddie Cup after a 2 - 1 win over Lisburn Distillery. Huge congratulations to all who won prizes in the raffle and special gratitude to those who donated and especially to all Jemma, Andrew and little Ozzie’s family and friends who supported the day by coming along and buying ballots for such a worthy cause.
