Mayor's Reception for Kingsbridge North West Hospital

The Mayor of Derry City and Strabane District Council, Cllr Sandra Duffy recently hosted a reception for the healthcare staff and clinical teams from Kingsbridge Private Hospital North West, to acknowledge the contribution they made during COVID, carrying out Cancer and time critical surgery for the Western Trust, at their hospital in Ballykelly.

The staff were invited by the Mayor to the Main Hall in the City’s beautiful Guildhall where they were offered some food and refreshments and got to tell her about the types of surgeries and medical procedures they implemented at Kingsbridge on behalf of the NHS during the Pandemic.

Mark Regan, CEO of Kingsbridge Healthcare Group was also at the reception. He said:

“This all started when one of our Consultant Anaesthetists, Dr Mukesh Chugh contacted the Mayor’s office directly as he felt the staff had gone over and above working tirelessly to ensure Western Trust patients got the urgent medical attention they needed, during the pandemic."
