Our GP-Led Mother & Baby Clinic gives you the chance to discuss any worries you may have for you and your baby. Our Private GP can help provide you with the answers you need and a referral onwards if required.
Our Mother & Baby Clinic includes:
General discussion regarding mental health and wellbeing
Discussion regarding any particular postnatal issues identified
General postnatal advice and advice regarding pelvic floor exercises
Contraceptive advice and prescription
Physical examination, BP check and check of episiotomy or C-section scars if necessary
Discussion and advice regarding any other issues such as infant feeding, breastfeeding issues or issues with mastitis
Blood tests are available if necessary. Please note that there will be an extra cost.
A gynae referral will be advised if any more complex issues have been identified.
A paediatric or neonatologist referral will be advised if any significant issues identified need a follow-up. the majority of women. It is vital women are given accurate information to help them make an informed choice as to how best manage their symptoms and improve their general health and wellbeing.

The Mummy MOT is a comprehensive postnatal assessment for mums which is suitable after 6 weeks post vaginal delivery or 8 weeks following C-section.
It aims to address any issues you may have including bladder leakage, symptoms of prolapse and diastasis rectus abdominus.
The Mummy MOT should empower you to safely get back to any activities you would like to and help you to feel confident in your body.

You will be booked in with Sarah Graham for a 1 hour Mummy MOT initial appointment at designated time.
If you are booking a follow up appointment – please book in for 45 minute slot.
Following the appointment, the practitioner will decide if you require further input and will you in accordingly for a follow-up.
If no further input is required, you will be discharged from the Mummy MOT service.
