Nikolay Peev’s Profile
Mr Peev completed his basic training in Bulgaria. Following the completion of his training he has done multiple fellowships around the world:
2005-2006 – Department of Neuroprotection, The Panum Institute, Section of Neuroprotection, Faculty of Health Sciences, The University of Copenhagen, Denmark
2009 – Neurovascular Fellowship – The World Federation of Neurosurgical Societies (WFNS), Department of Neurosurgery, Fujita Health University, Nagoya, Japan
2011 – Fellowship in Neurooncology and Spinal surgery – The World Federation of Neurosurgical Societies (WFNS) Victor Horsley Department of Neurosurgery. The National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery, Queen Square, London, UK
2013 – Ohio State University, Columbus, Ohio, USA, Dep.Neurosurgery – Minimal Invasive Neuro – Endoscopic Surgery
2014 – Fellowship in Complex spine surgery – Salford Royal NHS Foundation Trust, Dep. Neurosurgery
Mr Peev trained as a General Neurosurgeon, able to address all the aspects of the modern Neurosurgery, however his main areas of interest includes Minimally Invasive (KeyHole) Surgery, Complex Spine Surgery, Endoscopic Surgery and Failed Back Surgery
Mr Peev is also involved in teaching and organising conferences and courses around the world with international Neurosurgical and Spinal Societies
