    • Appointment-based urgent care for minor illnesses & fractures
    • Rapid access to specialist GP-led Minor Injuries Clinic
    • State-of-the-art diagnostic technology including X-Ray and MRI
    • Experienced clinical teams supported by specialist nurses

Kingsbridge Hospital facilities are constantly evolving to provide patients with more comprehensive and convenient care. One such innovation is the integration of a Minor Injuries Clinic within our General Practice (GP) surgery.

This service offers a valuable resource for patients who need prompt treatment for non-serious injuries, allowing them to avoid long waits at the emergency department (ED) and receive care in a familiar, accessible setting.

What is a Minor Injuries Clinic?

Our GP-Led Minor Injuries Clinic is a specialised service that treats a variety of non-serious injuries. These clinics are staffed by experienced healthcare professionals, including GPs and nurse practitioners, who are trained to handle minor injuries quickly and effectively. The goal is to provide immediate care for injuries that do not require the advanced resources of a hospital ED.

Why Choose a Minor Injuries Clinic?

Opting for our GP-Led Minor Injuries Clinic over a hospital ED can have several advantages:

Reduced Waiting Times: Minor injuries clinics typically have shorter waiting times than busy emergency departments, allowing patients to receive care faster.

Convenient Access: Located within our GP surgery, this clinic is more convenient to access.

Rapid Treatment Access: Available Saturday (9am - 5pm)* for treatment, scans and onward referral if required.

*subject to appointment availability

No Need to Wait Hours in A&E

Why wait in A&E when we can see you with no waiting times?
