Business Manager - 3fivetwo Training Academy

 Due to continued expansion 3fivetwo Training academy are seeking to appoint an experienced Business Manager to actively support the Training Academy team in the development and delivery of courses as well as the day to day running of the Training Academy.

Hours 37.5 hours (evening and weekends may be required on an ad hoc basis – employees will receive time in lieu)

Job Summary

The successful candidate will actively support the Training Academy team in the development and delivery of courses. This role is pivotal in the day to day running of the Training Academy and accordingly will need to exercise management over internal processes, income generation, infrastructure, communications and personnel.
 
This role will directly support the Group Corporate Strategy Manager and together ensure that the Training Academy functions as an autonomous organisation, whilst working within the Kingsbridge Healthcare Group.
 
This role requires someone with energy, passion and ambition to elevate this expanding business to the next level, including, working with staff to continuously provide high quality training programmes.
 
Role Responsibilities
 

  • Manage and operationally deliver specific business areas and projects within the Company as instructed by the Group Corporate Strategy Manager.
  • Participate in reviewing key performance indicators at regular intervals.
  • Operationally responsible for monitoring and delivering activity against business plans.
  • Manage existing clients to ensure that clients’ needs are met, strong relationships are developed, and additional business opportunities are maximised; ensuring high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Research the target market to identify new customers to target.
  • Monitor sales performance to maximise potential profits.
  • Identify problem areas in the business and take remedial action in a flexible, supportive and pro-active manner.
  • Assist with the preparation of tenders and bids.
  • Attract and recruit associate trainers to expand training portfolio.
  • Ensure that course evolution is maintained from the initial concept through to deployment.
  • Able to demonstrate or rapidly acquire a comprehensive understanding of medical training locally and nationally alongside the various non-medical opportunities that exist.
  • Work with the Senior Training and Development Officer on marketing, developments and events.
  • Work with the Training Coordinator to ensure that the scheduling and programming of courses is delivered in line with KPI’s.

Qualifications Education to degree level *
 
If not educated to degree level- *5 years relevant management experience will be considered.
 
Experience A minimum of 2 year’s relevant management experience.
 
Experience of delivering projects to deadlines/ targets.
Business Development experience
 
 
Special Knowledge and Skills Proficiency in the use of MS Packages including PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook
Excellent customer service skills and an ability to impress
Excellent communication and presentation skills
A proven ability to build and manage teams
 
Additional knowledge of healthcare/medical training or course development experience would be an advantage
