How to Apply for the Cross-Border Healthcare Plan

Please note: Day care doesn’t need pre-approval, but overnight stays do.

1. Get In Touch

Fill out the form at the top of this page for a same-day call-back from our One2One team, or call us on 01 968 2000.

2. GP Referral

Ask your GP for a referral letter to confirm the treatment you need and begin your application.

3. Consultation

Before your treatment, you’ll meet your consultant at Kingsbridge.

Our One2One team will guide you through the HSE forms and handle any paperwork.

4. Approval (If Overnight)

Overnight stays need HSE approval,
we’ll take care of that.

Day care doesn’t need approval.

5. Surgery

Surgery is usually scheduled within 7 days.

Most patients have their procedure within a week.

6. Reimbursement

Pay upfront for your surgery, then get reimbursed by the HSE in around 10–12 weeks.

We’ll assist with the process. Reimbursement may be full or partial, depending on your procedure.
