Cransford, in association with Kingsbridge Healthcare Group, is seeking to recruit a Business Development Executive.  This is a multi-faceted insurance brokerage role combining a pro-active approach to lead generation, as well as managing the existing client base, ensuring customers are given an exceptional level of service.

Job Summary

Cransford is a busy and rapidly expanding insurance brokerage, specialising in private health insurance, cash plans and other private medical services/products. We provide advice to businesses and individuals on the most cost-effective strategies and products to help them meet their healthcare goals. 
 
Key Responsibilities:

  • Prospecting / Lead Generation – to be competent in implementing strategies for the successful prospecting new clients to develop and grow your sales pipeline, as well as mining existing databases 
  • Business Networking Opportunities – to be confident attending relevant business networking events to promote the Cransford brand and services, as well as establishing new client relations
  • Communications – to possess strong communication skills at all levels, with the motivation and drive to succeed in all the tasks you undertake.
  • Relationships - to manage and develop the relationships with its third-party providers of services (both current and new) to ensure the contracts/agreements are signed and managed to the satisfaction of both parties.
  • Monthly Performance Meetings – to provide monthly updates of progress towards targets, new business pipeline, as well as any up and coming propositions for consideration
  • Marketing/Advertising – to liaise with our marketing team in the production of literature/information for targeted campaigns.
  • Sales Forecast – to produce future sales forecasts based on understanding current trading trends combined with a healthy conversion of new business.
  • To ensure that our sales process continues to evolve within the confines of a regulated sales environment.
  • To ensure back office systems are maintained and client files are kept up to date.
  • Other general administrative/office duties, as required.
  • To maintain GDPR compliance at all times.

  • Minimum 2 A-Levels or equivalent
  • Honours degree or equivalent
Experience
  • Minimum 3 years B2B sales experience
  • Experience in the financial or insurance sectors

  • Excellent communication skills, both orally and in writing.
  • Excel skills and use of Microsoft Office
  • Excellent team-working skills.
