‘Seeing is Believing’ at Foyle Search and Rescue

We were proud to visit and see first-hand the incredible work their volunteers do every day to keep the community safe.

During our visit, Anthony gave us a powerful insight into the history of the charity – how it started, how it’s grown, and why their work remains so critical. We explored the River Foyle (the fastest-flowing river in Europe for its size), learned about its tides, currents, and hidden dangers, and toured the mobile Incident Command Unit and equipment room – even trying on some of the life-saving gear ourselves.

As a token of our appreciation, the Kingsbridge Foundation is now funding FREE Hepatitis B vaccinations for all active Foyle Search and Rescue volunteers.

Vaccinations will be delivered through our Kingsbridge North West GP Clinic, helping to support those who selflessly support others.
