Celebrating Inclusion at the Belfast SEN Festival of Sport
Earlier this week, the Kingsbridge Foundation had the privilege of supporting a truly inspiring event at Olympia Leisure Centre and Spa, the Belfast SEN Festival of Sport, delivered in collaboration with the Belfast Special Schools Business Education Partnership.
We were delighted to join pupils from Harberton School, Cedar Lodge School, St. Gerard’s Special School and Rosstulla School for a morning dedicated to sport, teamwork, and personal development. The energy in the room was incredible.
The event created a fun environment where young people could build confidence, strengthen communication skills and try out a range of new sporting experiences. Just as importantly, it offered pupils the chance to connect with peers from other schools and forming new friendships.
The enthusiasm, positivity and engagement shown throughout the morning were a reminder of why inclusive initiatives matter. When young people are given the space to shine, they do so brilliantly.
A big thank you Sports Changes Life and all participating schools and partners who helped make the day such a memorable experience.
We are proud to champion community-focused projects like this across Northern Ireland through our Kingsbridge Foundation that empower young people and create opportunities for everyone to thrive.
