Hear From Our Patients

I’ve supported many patients on their journey to better health, listen to some of their stories.

Sarah is a Mummy MOT Practitioner specialising in all areas of postnatal recovery.

Sarah graduated from Ulster in 2018 with a first-class honours degree in Physiotherapy. She went on to complete a Master’s degree in Sport and Exercise Medicine, working alongside Ulster Rugby for her research project. Sarah began working within musculoskeletal physiotherapy in 2018 and became an APPI-certified Matwork Pilates Instructor in 2020. Since then, she has completed a range of further pilates training, including pre- and postnatal pilates and reformer level 1-3. Through this, Sarah gained a keen interest in pre- and postnatal conditions, particularly postnatal rehabilitation.

Sarah went on to complete the Mummy MOT Practitioner Training Course, which is a specific postnatal assessment focusing on all aspects of women’s health, including urinary leakage, diastasis rectus abdominus assessment and rehabilitation and pelvic organ prolapse. Women can avail of this assessment from 6 weeks after a vaginal delivery and 8 weeks following a C-section. It is never too late to have a Mummy MOT, and if any mums are struggling with the symptoms associated with prolapse or incontinence, they should get assessed.
