Dr Saifeldin Elamin’s Profile

Mr. Elamin graduated from faculty of medicine University Of Khartoum.

He did his basic surgical training in Ireland and obtain Intercollegiate MRCS from the RCSI. Then did urology training and obtained FRCS (Urology) from RCSI.

Mr. Elamin obtained ChM in Urology at the University of Edinburgh UK and is currently working as Urologist at Sligo University Hospital.

He previously worked as consultant urologist in Cork/Mercy university Hospitals and at the Belfast Trust UK

Personal profile

Mr. Elamin is active in a number of charity organisations which help people in his home country and include the development of urology services.

He has been particularly involved in SIU (Société Internationale d’Urologie) project to improve the urology service in Sudan and has been leading a programme to bring experts surgeons and nursing staff to the centre from Ireland.

His leisure interests include playing football.
