Mr Phil Davey Profile

Mr. Davey is currently a Consultant Surgeon in Causeway Hospital, with a specialist interest in Laparoscopic Colo-rectal surgery.

He holds the role of the Clinical Lead for the Colorectal Cancer Multi-disciplinary team (CRC MDT) for the Northern HSC Trust, as well as Post-Graduate Education Lead for Surgery in Causeway Hospital.He also holds the role of an Honorary Lecturer at the Queens University, Belfast.

Mr. Davey has completed his specialist training within Northern Ireland, and qualified as a consultant in 2015. He is an accredited Bowel cancer screening endoscopist for the Trust. Phil takes a keen interest in medical education and training, and is a member of NIMDTA’s specialty general surgery training committee.
