I’ve supported many patients on their journey to better health, listen to some of their stories.

Consultant Urologist, Mr. Nathan Grimes, offers assessment and management of both benign and cancerous urological conditions.

Mr. Grimes is a consultant urologist based in Altnagelvin Hospital and his practice spans the breadth of core urology with a subspecialty interest in kidney cancer.

His undergraduate training was completed at the University of Liverpool and he began his surgical training in Northern Ireland with urology specialty training completed in Scotland. He was appointed as a consultant in Altnagelvin Hospital in 2021.

Areas of interest include: Investigation of suspected urological cancers (kidney, bladder, prostate and testicular); lower urinary tract symptoms; urinary tract infections; foreskin problems; scrotal problems; kidney stones
