Muhammad Yousaf’s Profile

Mr Yousaf is a consultant in general and gastrointestinal surgery and specializes in advances laparoscopic surgery of stomach, colon, gallbladder and hernia at Craigavin Area Hospital and Kingsbridge Private Hospital. 

Mr Yousaf has been working in Craigavon Area Hospital for 10 years as consultant in General, gastrointestinal and minimal access surgery. He had his specialist training in general surgery from Northern Ireland with additions training in Manchester and London. He is on the faculty of Royal College of Surgeons in England as a trainer for advanced laparoscopic surgery. 

Mr Yousaf has had his higher surgical training in Northern Ireland with additions specialist training in hepato-biliary surgery in Manchester as well advanced laparoscopic surgery in London. He is general and gastrointestinal surgeon with interest in complicated gallbladder and biliary diseases and acid reflux . He specialises in keyhole surgery for hernia, gallstones and also has interest in surgery for weight loss. He also takes referrals for OGD, colonoscopy and minor operations

He specialises in surgery of colon and intestinal disorder, hernia, complicated gallstones disease and stomach acid reflux.  He also takes referrals for gastroscopy/ colonoscopy, chronic abdominal pain and skin lesions.
