Michael Stafford’s Profile

Mr Michael Stafford is a consultant in anaesthesia with a special interest in chronic pain management. He practices exclusively at Kingsbridge Private Hospital in Belfast.

Mr Michael Stafford has been a consultant at the Ulster Hospital, Belfast since January 2005.  He has been lead specialist for chronic pain management at the Ulster Hospital since 2013. On completion of specialist training in Northern Ireland, Mr Stafford undertook a one year fellowship in chronic pain management at the Wasser Pain Management Centre, based in the Mount Sinai Hospital Toronto, one of the largest, multi-disciplinary pain management centres in Canada. 

Mr Stafford practices privately exclusively at Kingsbridge Private Hospital in Belfast.

  • Fellowship of Faculty of Anaesthesia (Royal College of Surgeons,Dublin), May 1998
  • MD Epidural Steroid in the Management of Sciatica. Queen’s University of Belfast. December 2003
  • Fellow of the Faculty of Pain Medicine (College of Anaesthetists, Ireland) Dublin 2008
