Kourosh Khosraviani’s Profile

Mr Khosraviani’s special interests include: General surgery, colorectal disorders, laparoscopic colorectal surgery, bowel cancer screening, hernia surgery and the provision of services for all general surgical conditions as well as a specialist in colorectal and pelvic floor disorders.

Mr Khosraviani has extensive experience in Laparoscopic Colorectal Surgery and has also developed the regional Service for Pelvic Floor Disorders.

He has extensive experience in advanced endoscopy (Colonoscopy) and has, with the help of public health, set up the regional bowel cancer-screening program.

Mr Khosraviani has worked in NI surgical services He gained specialist training in St Mark’s Hospital in London internationally recognised as a centre of excellence for Colorectal Disease. He also completed a fellowship in Mount Siani Hoispital In Torronto Canada.

He has also extensively involved in postgraduate training and am an Associate Postgraduate Dean at NIMDTA.
