Eiad Qudairat’s Profile
Mr Eiad Qudairat is Consultant Oral and Maxillofacial, Head and Neck, Cosmetic and Reconstructive Facial Surgeon
Eiad is on both the Specialist lists; Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery held by the GMC and Oral Surgery held by the GDC.
Eiad is both medically and dentally qualified Doctor with the most prestigious UK dental qualification; Licence in Dental Surgery from the Royal College of Surgeons in London. He is also a fellow of both Royal Colleges of Surgeons in London and Dublin; Fellowship in Dental Surgery and in Oral Surgery Speciality respectively.
Eiad was awarded the Royal College of Surgeons Gold medal when he achieved the highest marks in the class of 1997. He worked in General Surgery, Accident and Emergency medicine, Otolaryngology ENT, Oral Maxillofacial and Plastic Surgery as part of his basic surgical training, following that he was awarded the CBST Certificate of Basic Surgical Training.
He gained his PhD from Queen’s University of Belfast in the field of facial trauma and facial injuries. His training didn’t stop at one unit or one country; from Aberdeen Royal infirmary in north Scotland to Royal Surrey in south England. Both in public and private sectors, Guy’s and St Thomas’s, King’s college London, London Bridge Hospital, London Clinic, Harley Street, Nuffield’s group Hospital are only some of these units, to name but a few.
Following completion of his training in Facial Surgery he was awarded the FRCS in Oral and maxillofacial Surgery & the Certificate of completion of training CCT.
Although Eiad’s time spent in Scotland was for training in Head & Neck Oncology & Micro vascular Reconstruction, his main interest was developed in Facial Aesthetics, Cosmetic and Reconstructive Surgery during his time spent in London during his IFRCS Interface Fellowship in Facial Reconstructive and Cosmetic Surgery.
He is currently working as a Substantive Consultant in the Plastic & Oral & Maxillofacial Department in the Ulster Hospital as an Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon. He is also working as a Head & Neck Oncology Consultant & is a member of the MDT in both the South East Trust & the Royal Victoria Hospital.
