Andrew Johnston’s Profile

Mr Andrew Johnston is a full-time Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon working out or Kingsbridge Private Hospital Group alongside his NHS work in the Royal Victoria Hospital and Musgrave Park Hospital.

Qualifications

  • MB BCH MSc (Sports) FRCS (Trauma & Orthopaedics)
  • Graduated Queen’s University Belfast Medical School 1999
  • Completed Specialist Training Programme Trauma & Orthopaedics Northern Ireland 2005 – 2011

Treatment Areas

  • Knee Surgery – Soft tissue knee surgery including knee arthroscopy (key-hole) & ligament reconstruction
  • Knee Replacement Surgery
  • Total Hip Replacement Surgery
  • Fracture Management – Fracture fixation to allow early functional rehabilitation and recovery including fracture of clavicle, olecranon, forearm, wrist, knee, tibia, ankle, achilles and tendon rupture.
