Amir Ketabchi’s Profile

Mr Amir Ketabchi is a Consultant Oral & Maxillo-Facial Surgeon with over twenty years of experience in all aspects of oral and maxillo-facial surgery from removal of impacted wisdom teeth to orthognathic surgery to reshape faces and correct functional and cosmetic jaw discrepancies in the most intricate part of the body.

Maxillo-Facial Surgery is, anatomically speaking, the surgical specialty of the face and combines training in both medicine and dentistry as well as surgery to treat hard and soft tissue conditions affecting the face and jaws.

Mr Ketabchi has a specialist interest in the removal and reconstruction of facial skin cancer.

He is also a Fellow of the British Association of Oral & Maxillo-Facial Surgeons and a member of the European Association.

Mr Ketabchi is a substantive UK trained consultant surgeon and is fully accredited and revalidated with the General Medical Council. He is also a recognised Trainer.

He is active in teaching medical students and trainee surgeons and regularly interviews, teaches and examines at two local medical schools.
