Mr. Ahmed Marzouk’s Profile
Mr. Marzouk is an experienced Consultant General, Laparoscopic and Upper Gastrointestinal Surgeon with over 20 years of clinical and academic experience. He has specialised in advanced laparoscopic procedures including Benign UGI, bariatric surgery, anti-reflux surgery, abdominal wall hernia repairs, and endoscopic procedures.
Currently, Mr. Marzouk works as a Consultant Surgeon at Altnagelvin Area Hospital in Derry/Londonderry, Northern Ireland, UK. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of England and Edenborough (FRCS) and American College of Surgeons (FACS). He also holds a MSc in General Surgery and MD in General Surgery from Cairo University, Egypt.
Mr. Marzouk has worked in leading academic hospitals in Egypt, Saudi Arabia, UAE and the UK. He is also an Assistant Professor of Surgery at Cairo University and has over 50 publications and presentations at major conferences.
