Miss Alison McCoubrey’s Profile

Miss Alison McCoubrey Is an experienced consultant general & colorectal surgeon with special interests in colorectal cancer, inflammatory bowel disease & pelvic floor disorders.

 Miss McCoubrey qualified with Honours from Queens University, Belfast in 2000. She completed her basic and specialist surgical training in Northern Ireland before being appointed as a consultant, initially in the Western Health & Social Care Trust in 2013 before taking up her current post in Causeway Hospital in 2017.

Miss McCoubrey welcomes surgical referrals for conditions relating to the gastrointestinal system, hernias, pelvic floor disorders and perianal conditions. She also welcomes referrals for OGD, sigmoidoscopy, colonoscopy and minor ops.
