Hilary Finlay’s Profile

Hilary studied at the University of Ulster and graduated in 1984. She has worked extensively in the health service and in private practice and brings considerable experience in the management of musculoskeletal and orthopaedic conditions.

Hilary lived in New Zealand for 13 years during which time she completed a specialist postgraduate diploma in health science through Auckland University.

On returning from New Zealand Hilary worked in Scotland and Wales before taking up a position as Physiotherapist at the North West Independent Hospital in 2000 and Kingsbridge North West Private Hospital in 2021.

Hilary continues to develop her skills through regular attendance on physiotherapy recognised courses, completing a Post Graduate Diploma in Orthopaedic and Rehabilitation Technology through Dundee University in 2017. Additional courses McKenzie back care, Cyriax, Mulligan manual therapy and Pilates level1.

She is a member of the Acupuncture Association of Chartered Physiotherapists (AACP) and the Association of Orthopaedic Chartered Physiotherapists

Personal Profile

Away from work Hilary enjoys keeping fit with coastal walks, open water swimming, running and yoga.
