Stephen Patton’s Profile

Dr Patton graduated in Medicine from Queens University Belfast in 1997. He completed his GP training in Belfast and qualified from the Royal College of General Practitioners in 2001.

In his early career he worked as an NHS GP partner in Liverpool for three years until returning home to Northern Ireland in 2007. He subsequently held an NHS GP partner role in Belfast for 15 years.

Dr Patton has experience in all aspects of general practice, with a special interest in medical education and has been a GP trainer for over 8 years.

  • MB BCh BAO (Queens University Belfast)
  • Diploma in Child Health
  • Diploma in Obstetrics and Gynaecology
