Siobhan Kirk’s Profile
Dr Siobhan Kirk is the only Consultant in Sexual & Reproductive Health in NI, a recognised Menopause Specialist and Trainer with the British Menopause Society. She is Clinical Lead for Sexual & Reproductive Health in Belfast HSC Trust. She has been working in the Belfast HSC menopause clinic since 2005.
Dr Kirk is a Fellow of both the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists and Faculty of Sexual and Reproductive Healthcare, and is on the Specialist Register for Community Sexual & Reproductive Health. She is the Chair of the NI FSRH Committee and FSRH rep on the RCOG NI Committee.
She has presented at national and international conferences, is regularly invited to speak at local Women’s Health meetings and provides training in contraception and menopause care to GPs, nurses and gynaecologists in Northern Ireland. Siobhan is passionate about all aspects of women’s reproductive health.
Dr Kirk developed The Maypole Menopause Clinic in partnership with Kingsbridge Private Hospital in 2019. This clinic was the first exclusive private menopause clinic in Northern Ireland.
Other doctors are now offering menopause consultations at Kingsbridge independently from Dr Kirk (Review appointments only apply with the original consultant otherwise it is a new consultation and priced accordingly)
