Dr Caffrey qualified with distinction from Queen’s University Belfast in 2009. Following completion of hospital foundation training in a wide variety of specialties, she proceeded to surgical training with a focus on ENT, obtaining membership of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh.

She then transitioned to GP training, qualifying in 2019. She continues to work in a busy Belfast NHS GP practice alongside her Kingsbridge role, as well as in teaching and advisory roles.

Dr Caffrey holds additional qualifications in Mental Health, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Minor Surgery and Aesthetics. She loves the variety general practice brings and connecting with her patients. She has a particular interest in Wellbeing and Lifestyle medicine, as well as Quality Improvement
