Dr Parisa Galway’s Profile

As a clinical psychologist Dr Galway offers a range of psychological treatments tailored to meet individual needs. 

Her work with children, families and adults who present with a range of difficulties including but not limited to anxiety, depression, trauma, interpersonal difficulties and anger. Her therapeutic approaches include; 

  • Cognitive-behavioural therapy (CBT)
  • Dialectical behavioural therapy (DBT)
  • Integrative therapy
  • Systemic therapy 
  • Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR).

Dr Galway is committed to and passionate about helping individuals cope with the difficulties they may face in life. She aims to provide a therapeutic space where individuals feel comfortable and respected at all times.

Dr Galway’s goals are to continue to work within the field of clinical psychology by providing evidence-based assessment and interventions in addition to contributing to research, and service development. She has a specialist interest in Autism Spectrum Disorder and is fully trained and qualified in the administration and scoring of the ADOS-2 (Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule) assessment and the ADI-R (Autism Diagnostic Interview-Revised) assessment and scoring.
