Dr Nick Cromie’s Profile

Dr Nick Cromie has worked as a Consultant Cardiologist since 2010 and practices in both the Belfast Trust and the Maypole Clinic in Holywood.

He trained in Northern Ireland before completing a 2 year Fellowship in Cardiac Electrophysiology and Devices in Victoria, Vancouver Island, at that time the largest atrial fibrillation ablation centre in Canada. On return to Northern Ireland he set up the local atrial fibrillation ablation program.

He is fully trained in all aspects of general Cardiology, including palpitations, shortness of breath, blackouts and chest pain. His sub-specialty interest is the management of patients with heart rhythm disturbances requiring invasive management, including catheter ablation and device implantation (pacemakers and defibrillators).
