Dr Gaurav Manikpure’s Profile

Dr Manikpure obtained his primary qualification (MBBS) from Amravati University,India in 2001. He completed hiis training in internal medicine in N Ireland and England (MRCP-Medicine).

After working in Leeds teaching hospital as a gastroenterology registrar, he subsequently completed his post graduate training in Northern Ireland (MRCP-Gastro). Following this he did a fellowship in Barts and the London Hospital where he obtained experience in the management of complex inflammatory bowel diseases, nutrition and advanced endoscopy.

His current position is Consultant Physician/Gastroenterologist in Causeway Hospital where he has been in post from August 2014. He is a member of RCP,BSG, USG and NI IBD interest group.
