Frances Stewart’s Profile

Dr Frances Stewart offers early pregnancy scanning as well as general gynaecological health checks for those women who want to be proactive regarding their wellbeing.

Over the past number of years Dr Stewart has built up one of the largest gynaecological private practices in Belfast. She offers a bespoke experience to women in an environment where they can feel comfortable in often uncomfortable circumstances.

“I really enjoy working with my patients to achieve outcomes which give them their quality of life back. I pride myself on the positive patient feedback I get. Again and again women say they wish that they had come sooner, had they realised they would be listened to and the outcome would be so positive. I strive to do the absolute best for my patients. As no two women are the same, each woman needs and deserves individualised assessment and treatment.” Dr Frances Stewart

Dr Stewart completed her medical degree at Queens University in Belfast in 1995. She was admitted as a full member of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists in 2003 and became qualified as a Consultant Gynaecologist and Obstetrician in 2008. As well as her medical degree, Diploma in Family planning, Diploma in Obstetric Ultrasound, Dr Stewart has a medical doctorate in maternal medicine and has a keen interest in enhancing patient safety. She has recently commenced the highly respected Scottish Patient Safety Fellowship and hopes to extend her learning and experiences to hospitals throughout Northern Ireland.
