Dr Christophe Hillemand’s Profile

Dr Hillemand is a Consultant Gastroenterologist working in Daisy Hill Hospital, Newry, Southern Trust.

He received his medical degree from Queen’s University Belfast in 2003. He trained in Gastroenterology in Northern Ireland and completed an advanced fellowship in Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD: Crohn’s and Colitis) at Concord/Bankstown Hospitals, Sydney, Australia in 2013.

He is the clinical lead for endoscopy in the Southern Trust. His specialist interests are Inflammatory Bowel Disease, Capsule Endoscopy, Diagnostic and Therapeutic Upper and Lower GI Endoscopy.

In 2007, I was appointed Consultant Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgeon at the Royal Victoria and Musgrave Park Hospitals, and I currently serve as an Honorary Lecturer in Trauma Surgery at Queen’s University Belfast.

Dr Hillemand only consults with NHS referred patients and does not hold private clinics.
