Dr Anthony McClelland’s Profile

Dr Anthony McClelland MA MD FRCP is a Consultant Cardiologist based in Craigavon Area Hospital. His services include the investigation and management of all adult cardiology complaints including palpitation, syncope, chest pain, shortness of breath.

Dr McClelland graduated from the University of Cambridge (Christ’s College) in 1997 and was awarded membership of the Royal College of Physicians of London in 2000. He commenced cardiology training in Belfast in 2002 and was awarded a postgraduate Doctorate for cardiac research by Queens University Belfast in 2005.

After sub-specialising in Coronary Intervention (including coronary stenting) he completed his training with a Fellowship in Royal North Shore Hospital, Sydney. Dr McClelland was appointed Consultant Cardiologist in 2009.

Services include the investigation and management of all adult cardiology complaints including palpitation, syncope, chest pain, shortness of breath.

His special interests include invasive assessment and treatment of coronary artery disease with intracoronary pressure wire/ultrasound and coronary stenting.
