Amer Saleem’s Profile

Dr Saleem graduated in 2002 from University of The Punjab, Pakistan and entered into post graduate training in internal medicine and respiratory medicine. In 2010 he moved to the UK to further complete his training.

Dr Saleem works as a full time Consultant in Respiratory Medicine in the NHS. His private work, is at Kingsbridge Private Hospital in Belfast.

Dr Saleem has been working in the field of respiratory medicine since 2006.  His first consultant appointment in UK was in 2014 and he has participated in various national and international trials and clinical audits.  Dr Saleem has also published various care reports, studies and articles.
 
With a keen interest in teaching and training, Dr Saleem has supervised many under graduate medical students, junior doctors and post-graduate respiratory trainees.
 
He provides consultations for adult respiratory patients and his areas of special interests include COPD, TB, lung cancer, endobronchial ultrasound (EBUS) TBNA.
