Dr Ahmed Tawfik’s Profile

Consultant Gastroenterologist with broad experience in general gastroenterology, advanced endoscopy, inflammatory bowel disease, Barrett’s oesophagus, and Digestive neuroendocrine tumours. Holds an MBBCh with postgraduate research qualifications (MRes, PhD) and is a Member of the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland (MRCPI) and Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow (FRCP Glasg).

Experienced in outpatient and inpatient care, diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy, MDT-led cancer services, teaching, training, and clinical governance, with a strong commitment to high-quality, evidence-based patient care.
