Mr Robert Kennedy is a Consultant Surgeon in the South Eastern Health and Social Care Trust, based at the Ulster Hospital, Dundonald. He sees private general surgical and endocrine patients at the Kingsbridge Private Hospital on a Tuesday afternoon. (Breast referrals are seen at the Ulster Independent Clinic on Tuesday evenings.) Most of his training has taken place in Northern Ireland and Scotland but he has also trained in Australia.
Mr Robert Kennedy is a member of the Association of Breast Surgeons and of The British Association of Endocrine and Thyroid Surgeons. He was previously the Quality Assurance surgeon for the NHS Breast Screening Programme in Northern Ireland, a member of the Screening and Audit committee at the Royal College of Surgeons of England and chaired the Northern Ireland Clinical Reference Group for Breast Cancer.
